REMOVAL OF THERMAFIL ROOT CANAL FILLINGS

In some cases of endodontic failure, Thermafil root canal obturations have to be removed. The technique used for removal has to take into consideration the properties of the obturation material and differs significantly from the removal of pure gutta-percha obturations. The following paper reports on a differentiated concept for the removal of Thermafil root canal fillings.
