DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF INVASIVE CERVICAL RESORPTION – REPORT OF TWO CASES
Invasive cervical resorption represents a relatively infrequent but sometimes rather aggressive type of external resorption originating from trauma or injury to the cervical attachment apparatus. Contrary to internal resorption the dental pulp in the initial phase is not affected. Diagnosis of invasive cervical resorption in most cases is made by chance in a late stage of resorption. Therapy has to take into account size and localization of the intradental lesion. In this paper diagnosis and treatment of two differing cases of invasive cervical resorption are presented.
